Confession time: I have *counts on fingers* seven cassette decks of one form or another (single well, dual well, cassette changer) in my stash right now. I also have a DAT deck. And a DCC deck. And am trying to find a Q8 (quad 8-track) deck for cheap.

At one point, there were grand plans for teardowns over on the Soundboard, but that never really panned out.

I just made a copy of the last(sad sigh) Bowie album to cassette for a friend who recently got an E38 with functional tape deck.
